Why customer need to know the vibrating screen types
A customer once asked me, I need to sieve bentonite clay. I have tried three different vibrating sieves and none of them worked satisfactorily. What products do you recommend? The answer is long, but the first step must be to tell the customer what options he has.
When we talk about sieving machine uses, although it is a very niche field, its position in the production line is often inconspicuous. But when you need a vibrating screen and Google searches for it, you will find that Google shows many different vibrating screens. So, before you look for a vibrating screen, you need to know, what vibrating screens are there to choose from?

Let’s get straight to the point. According to the moisture content of the product, vibrating screens can be divided into two categories: A vibrating screen that processes water-containing products, and B vibrating screen that processes completely dry products; According to the particle size of the product, the vibrating screen is divided into C large particle product vibrating screen and D fine powder vibrating screen.
Let’s show the difference through data:
A: Moisture content is greater than 5%, humid.
B: Moisture content less than 5%, dry. This is for reference only. For example, if the moisture content of starch reaches 5%, the Class B vibrating screen can handle it. For example, the moisture content of bentonite clay reaches 5%, which makes it difficult to sieve due to moisture.
C: The particle size is greater than 20mm. Such as large pieces of ore, sand and gravel, etc.
D: Particle size 40 microns to 20mm. Such as flour and chemical powder.
Fine powder screening machines can be divided into 3 categories: round, rectangular, and cylindrical.
D1. Round shape. Rotary vibrating screen, tumbler screening machine.
D2. Rectangle shape. Linear vibrating screen, gyratory sifter, swing separator, probability screen.
D3. Cylinder shape. Air flow screen, trommel sifter.
